"My child, I can't give you something I've already given you." Abba Father
Healing is part of our salvation that we received when we accepted Jesus as our Savior. Peter said it like this: “who is own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, …by whose stripes you were healed.” 1Peter 2:24.
Healing is part of the redemption that our Father provided for us in the offering of His son Jesus, Isaiah 53:4,5,10. Salvation is the gift that our Father provides and that we receive by faith, Ephesians 2:8,9. An all inclusive salvation, physically and spiritually, Acts 2:31. It is complete there is nothing left for Jesus to do, regarding our redemption, or he would have never sat down, Hebrews 10:12. We have, through the salvation that we received, been seated with Jesus at the Father’s right hand, Ephesians 2:4-6.
If we truly believe that we have something, we would not ask for it. We may ask how to use or cooperate with it, but we would not ask to get it. If you asked to borrow a tool and I handed it to you, you might ask me for instructions on how to use it or when to return it, but once it is in your hand, you would not ask for me to give it to you.
Salvation, with all of it’s benefits (Psalms 103:1,2) is just such a gift given to us, deposited into our spiritual account. It is an inheritance that belongs to us, in Christ Jesus, Titus 3:7
When we make a deposit into our bank account we do not ask the teller if we could please have some of our money. We do not promise the teller that we will surrender our life completely to them if they would give us some of our money. Nor do we begin to praise the bank for faithfully keeping our money and go tell everyone how wonderful our bank is and they should really be banking there. NO! None of that is required to get your money. You just go in and fill out the withdrawal slip or insert the debit card and take some of what belongs to you. You can withdrawal any amount that you choose, up to the total amount deposited. It is yours! You have every legal right to demand any or all of what you have in your account, without begging, bartering, or manipulating. You simply follow the bank’s withdrawal procedures. We may submit a withdrawal slip to the teller and say “ would you please give me this amount?” This asking would, in reality, be a ‘demand’ and rightly so, it is your money!
Our healing is belongs to us as much as the forgiveness of sins. We received them both in our salvation. As surely as we are saved we are healed, Jeremiah 17:14. They were ours the moment we received salvation. They became our inheritance. Deposited into our Heavenly (spiritual) bank account. Available for our use at anytime.
The way we access our account is simple. Belief. Yes, that’s what Jesus said to Jairus, “…Fear not, only believe and your daughter will be made whole”, Luke 8:49. Belief takes what our Father provided for us in Jesus. Belief and Faith are the only spiritual withdrawal slips, that are accepted, to take from our account.
Our belief is making the demand, for what is legally ours, and the Spirit releases what Jesus Christ has deposited into our account. Our belief is our cooperation with the Spirit to manifest outwardly what has been deposited spiritually into our account, Romans 8:11.
Our belief can be expressed in many different ways; resisting the devil by casting down imaginations or lies, rebuking a symptom, or just resting. These are all released spiritually by our belief. Jesus said in Mark 9:23 “… all things are possible to the one that believes.”
Belief and Faith are spiritual, they are not of the flesh, that is why it is important to be led by the Spirit in making a withdrawal from our inheritance. We might think our need is physical healing because we have a symptom, and we begin to rebuke and act based on that perceived need, yet we experience no change. This only produces frustration and doubt. That is an example of letting the flesh (the perceived need) determine how we should respond instead of the Spirit. The Spirit may lead us to cast down a lie or an imagination that we have received that is allowing that symptom to manifest. The Spirit will always address the root of the issue not just the fruit. Just as Jesus was led of the Spirit so we should let the Spirit determine how we should make a withdrawal, John 5:30; 6:63.
Healing is yours today, it belongs to you. Jesus paid a high price to provide our inheritance but he can’t make us use it. He too abides by the laws of our spiritual account. No one can make a withdrawal from your bank account without your consent and cooperation. Jesus will not force you to make a withdrawal on your spiritual account. Our belief is our consent and cooperation.
Believe today, take from your account what is rightfully yours. All that Jesus deposited there is yours to receive. Enjoy all the benefits of your salvation.
